VITAMIN B12
Vitamin B12, called cobalamin, is a water-soluble vitamin that is essential in red blood cell formation, cellular metabolism, nerve function, and production of DNA. It also helps in the conversion of protein and fat into energy.

Our team of clinicians can assess you for deficiency with a blood test and can administer a powerful dose if it is required. Because B12 is a water soluble vitamin we are able to administer it without the blood test first however it may be sensible to do a test to establish exactly how deficient you are.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I BOOK AN IV DRIP?
After booking, please complete the questionnaire you will be sent. This will be analysed by our team prior to your appointment.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN MY APPOINTMENT?
When you receive an IV drip at home a nurse or doctor will review the reason the treatment is required and conduct a thorough review of your past medical history, allergies and they will then take some observations and if necessary examine you. This is to ensure that it’s safe to prescribe and administer a drip to you. If a nurse has undertaken this assessment it is then fed into our online medical database and a Doctor in real time analyses this information and will then prescribe you the appropriate and safe treatment for the nurse to administer. Sometimes a follow up call or visit by the Doctor is required. Once a prescription has been formulated your treatment will be administered to you by the practitioner who will monitor you throughout.

- Cancellation/Rearrangement within 12 hours of the appointment time: 100% charge applied
- Cancellation/Rearrangement within 12 to 24 hours of the appointment time: 50% charge applied
- Cancellation/Rearrangement more than 24 hours from appointment time: Full refund or appointment rearrangement with no additional fee
