These tests include:
- Full Blood Count - looking for anaemia, white cell count and platelets
- Kidney Function
- Electrolyte levels
- Liver Function
- Thyroid Function tests
- Inflammatory Markers (CRP)
- Bone Markers (calcium, phosphate, uric acid)
- Triglycerides
- Cholesterol
- Vitamin D
- Ferritin (iron stores marker)
- Blood Glucose Level
- HbA1c a marker of blood glucose over the previous 3 months
It also includes the below cancer markers:
- PSA (for men) - prostate cancer marker
- Ca 125 (for women) - ovarian, fallopian and uterine cancer marker
We recommend that you fast for 8 hours prior to the test.
Vitamin B12 levels can be added on for £50.
